Rates
CLIENT-FOCUSED, ONE-ON-ONE, APPOINTMENT-ONLY STUDIO
CONSULTATIONS: For all new clients, please start with a consultation appointment to work out the logistics of your design.
- Full Day Session 12-8 pm $1000
If you’re someone who needs to be included in the design process, then I recommend paying for a full day session so I can afford to accommodate you.
- Two Day Sessions Back to Back: $1700
Reduces the day rate to $850/day, and you can get much more done, with only one healing process instead of two. Requires a deposit for both days.
- Half Day Rate: $700 12-4 pm; this is my minimum. You may get several small tattoos, but I can no longer offer my time for small tattoos. I can refer you to an apprentice or another artist in my network if you are looking for small tattoos, or you can come for flash or walk-in days when announced.
Average Appointment Schedule for a Full Day
The average appointment schedule looks something like:
12 pm arrival, greetings, paperwork, settling in. Have you eaten or brought food?
+ 1-2 hours designing and stenciling (varies by project phase)
4-6 hours of tattooing.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
ZELLE is GREAT. It’s free.
Cash is also GREAT
Venmo/Paypal is OK, but not ideal.
There is a US Bank across the street if you need an ATM, but please do it before your appointment.
You must pay at the time of appointment, before you leave the shop
Deposits
The deposit is a non refundable $200
Deposits are non-transferable to other people, unless I love the project.
Generally non-refundable, but do go toward the total at your last appointment when you finish the project. I do not credit your deposit at each appointment; I only credit it to your last appointment when the project is complete.
Rescheduling
An automated email goes out 3 days before your appointment, which has links for cancelling or rescheduling. A text goes out 24 hours before, and at that point it would be too late to reschedule.
You may reschedule with proper notice, twice. If you make it a habit, I will ask you to wait to book when you’re really able to commit.
Any short notice reschedules cost me an entire day’s work; you must forfeit your deposit and pay a new one.
Do what you need to do, but please be very mindful, thank you.
Consultation + Design Fees
Standard Consultation: One in-person consultation is included in the service. I do most of the design work with you at your consultation, except for projects that require me to freehand, which would happen at your tattoo appointment itself. I do not do revisions or variations after the initial consultation. That can happen during your designated tattoo appointment time that you scheduled. If you require an extra design consultation or a new design it will cost $200/hour.
Payment
ZELLE is GREAT. It’s free. Your banking app probably already has it.
Cash is also GREAT
Venmo/Paypal is OK, but not ideal.
Can do Credit Card but they have fees
AFTERPAY is available. It allows you to pay me for the service up front, while you can break the total into 4 payments over 6 weeks.
Touch Ups
One Touch Up is included in the half, whole, and back to back day rate, after your tattoo heals, and must be acquired within 6 months.
A $40 materials fee for small tattoos that need a touch up, simply because the price point of a small tattoo doesn’t cover expenses of a separate touch up appointment.
I highly encourage you to be responsible with your aftercare and follow my instructions. Issues created as a result of your own actions will be charged my hourly rate to fix, so don’t let your dog scratch your new tattoo, stay out of the sun, don’t sweat it out, and use the right ointments for your skin type.
There is a difference between needing more than one appointment to finish a tattoo, and a “touch up”
Due to a busy schedule, I cannot do touch up appointments on a weekend.
Neuro Spicy
SENSORY HEADS UP! I also struggle with sensory-sensitivities and executive dysfunction as my social battery wanes. This can look like irritability or quiet shut down, and difficulty finding the energy to answer a lot of questions or conversing while trying to tattoo you. I prefer most conversation to happen during the consultation, or before/after tattooing you, but not DURING the literal process of tattooing you. I need you to hold still.
Tattoo Machines still make noise! Bright Lights! Crinkly Paper! Multiple Conversations going at once!
I generally aim for a calm zen-like work space. If you’re neurodivergent, I recommend bringing noise canceling headphones or eye masks if you have trouble with any of these environmental presences! You are welcome to talk about music preferences, or bring your own. Bring comfy clothes and stim items if you prefer.
I don’t need you to talk the whole time! It doesn’t bother me at all. I also like to go non-verbal sometimes too, and for me it is not weird or socially rude. So, if you prefer not to make small talk, that’s totally fine with me, you can have a SILENT APPOINTMENT. Feel free to mention if you need one.
THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
This is Important!
DO NOT MAKE PLANS FOR “AFTER” YOUR TATTOO APPOINTMENT. Or at least have “loose” plans, where nobody is going to be mad if you can’t make it. I can’t control the time management process perfectly, every project has unique challenges especially on stencil days. Shading days are easier. Even so, I need to finish what Im doing for it to heal properly and I need a present and un-rushed pace to do it properly.
If you do make plans or have something going on you have to COMMUNICATE
